Our challenge was to thank Old Mutual's most valuable customers in an impactful, memorable way. First we sent them an emailer on a day that matters most – their birthday. This directed them to a portal that gave them the chance to select a gift. The cherry on top – we were able to update their details and Old Mutual's data in the process. Customers could choose from premium Le Creuset kitchenware to takealot vouchers. The response was incredible – 57% open email rate, 34 898 click-throughs 79 125 details updated for the year.
